The Valmeyer girls volleyball team is making a hobby of collecting trophies. The Pirates won its second tournament in a row on Saturday. The Pirates (15-3) went undefeated in New Berlin Tournament pool play and battled it out against Calhoun in the semifinals, taking the match, 25-23 and 28-26.

Valmeyer then handed West Central its first loss of the season in the championship game, beating the Cougars, 21-25, 25-15 and 25-21.
