Schultheises 50th | Anniversary

Glenn & Susan Schultheises

Glenn and Susan Schultheis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, aboard the Norwegian Gem, enjoying a 15-day cruise and tour of New England and Canada.

The former Susan Heyl married Glenn Schultheis on Oct. 6, 1962, at St. John’s Evangelical & Reform Church in Fults, the Rev. William Morisseau officiating.

Their children, Julie Whelan of Waterloo and Steve (Carla) Schultheis of Waterloo, hosted a party for family and friends on Sept. 16.

The Schultheises are also the proud grandparents of Drew, Alex and Claire Schultheis, and Adam, Colin and Chase Whelan.

Glenn is retired from J.F. Electric. He enjoys playing golf, gardening, fishing, traveling, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Sue is retired from Scott Air Force Base. She enjoys flower gardening, traveling, Duke University basketball, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
