Columbia Police
Aug. 30
Summer L. Kolmer, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested on two failure to appear warrants at 1553 N. Main Street.
Aug. 31
Daniel K. Hannaford, 34, of Columbia, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on Main Street at Temple.
Jason A. Stumpf, 36, of Valmeyer, was arrested for possession of a hypodermic needle and on a Monroe County warrant at 300 Columbia Centre.
Sept. 3
Brian E. Merritt, 45, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant and for driving while license revoked on I-255 westbound at milepost 4.6.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 29
A theft at 3558 Hanover Road is under investigation. Taken were scrap metal items and a radiator.
Aug. 30
Jonathan Butler, 27, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia on Levee Road at Taake Road.
Paul Boren, 41, of Red Bud, was arrested on Monroe County and Franklin County warrants.
A female resident of 1410 DD Road reported that $300 was unlawfully taken from a St. Louis ATM machine using her debit card.
No injuries were reported after a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 16-year-old Columbia male lost control on a gravel driveway along D Road around 4 p.m. and went into a field, striking a Zoar church sign and an HTC pedestal.
Sept. 1
Joshua Lance and Jordan Graves, both of Waterloo, were cited for unlawful damage to roadways on L Road.
Sept. 3
A report of criminal damage at 4835 Coxeyville Road is under investigation. Graffiti was spray-painted on a grain bin.

Waterloo Police
Aug. 28
Billy Kidd Stephens, 19, of Waterloo, was arrested for unlawful possession of a converted vehicle after having taken someone’s vehicle without permission.
Aug. 30
Trevor Hudson, 18, and Cody Truxal, 18, both of Waterloo, were arrested following an incident that began on Lakeview Drive. Hudson was arrested for reckless conduct after allegedly throwing a beer bottle at an off-duty officer, and was also cited for unlawful possession of alcohol. Truxal was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Aug. 31
Matthew Bateman, 32, of Columbia, was charged with burglary following an Aug. 26 incident in which he allegedly entered the bed of a pickup truck at 961 N. Market Street.
Garrett Pence, 33, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery at 1123 Cottonwood Lane.
