Police Blotter | 9/16/2015

Columbia Police
Sept. 12 – Billy Jack Bizzell Jr., 30, of Nacogdoches, Texas, was charged with resisting arrest at 531 Old State Route 3.
Sept. 13 – Stacy L. Robben, 46, of Belleville, was arrested for DUI, speeding and improper lane usage on Route 3 north of Gilmore Lake Road.

Monroe County Sheriff
Sept. 7 – A 16-year-old O’Fallon girl was transported to Belleville Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained when the 1996 Ford F150 truck she was driving lost control at a curve on Steppig Road just west of Bluff Road about 5 p.m. and overturned.
Sept. 8 – Kevin A. Kowalczyk of Waterloo was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia on G Road at Kaskaskia Road.
Sept. 9 – Ryan P. Demond, 31, of Waterloo, was charged with felony driving while license revoked (fifth offense) following an Aug. 2 traffic stop.
Sept. 13 – A burglary and vandalism to a farmhouse and outbuilding in the area of 3400 Bluff Road in Fults is under investigation. A wooden dartboard and a blue-handled hammer are among the items missing. Evidence was collected at the scene.

Waterloo Police
Sept. 8 – Two young women were arrested following the theft of vacuum cleaners from the Waterloo Walmart. Arrested in the incident were Mackenzie Elizabeth Bates, 18, of Belleville, and Zoe Camille Conley, 18, of Trenton. Bates is charged with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing two Dyson vacuum cleaners from the store. She was also wanted on arrest warrants stemming from forgery charges in Monroe County from earlier this year. Conley was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and misdemeanor retail theft for allegedly stealing a Shark vacuum cleaner from the store.
Sept. 9 – Richard Kruse, 70, of Columbia, was cited for disorderly conduct at 901 Illinois Avenue.
Sept. 10 – Jennifer Tyler, 24, of Red Bud, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart. She is alleged to have taken apple pie, lip balm, Neosporin and cosmetics from the store.
Sept. 11 – Nathan Bergauer, 36, of Waterloo, was cited for criminal damage to property after he allegedly shot the windshield of a parked car with a BB gun in the 300 block of Columbia Avenue.
