Columbia Police
Sept. 5
Katina R. Singleton-Kay, 44, of Belleville, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Sept. 10
Jasmine D. Jones, 27, of Arnold, Mo., was arrested for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a fugitive from justice out-of-state warrant at CVS, 100 Admiral Trost Road.

Illinois State Police
Sept. 11
The ISP’s Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois unit arrested Dean Walthes, 25, of Dupo, on three counts of possessing a controlled substance (heroin, hydrocodone-acetaminophen, buprenorphine-naloxone), two counts of possessing ammunition by a felon and one count of possessing a weapon by a felon following an incident in Monroe County. He was also arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Monroe County Sheriff
Sept. 6
Brittany Melvin, 25, of Columbia, was arrested for a St. Clair County warrant on Sportsman Road.
Sept. 7
Britny Mynch, 27, of New Athens, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant in Waterloo.
A resident on S Road reported that Best Buy credit card accounts were opened fraudulently using their name, with charges incurred.
Sept. 8
Ryan Lloyd, 36, of Renault, was arrested on a Collinsville warrant.
Police, fire and EMS responded to a crash on Bluff Road just south of Sandalwood Drive shortly before 5 p.m. The driver of a 2007 Infiniti, Pamela Gowens, 54, of Waterloo, was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of injuries. Police said her vehicle was traveling south on Bluff Road when it swerved off the roadway due to texting and talking on the cell phone and struck a tree on the left.
Sept. 9
Jason Prange, 36, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI following a crash in the area of B Road south of Route 156 in Valmeyer shortly after 11 p.m.
Sept. 11
Two people were injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a deer on Kaskaskia Road south of Waterloo. Police said a 2011 Harley-Davidson driven by Charles E. Lafore, 50, of Prairie du Rocher, was traveling on Kaskaskia Road just south of MM Road shortly after 12:35 a.m. when it struck a deer. Lafore and his passenger, Tami Wilson, 45, of Prairie du Rocher, were both transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of injuries.

Waterloo Police
Sept. 9
Tyler Gean, 20, of Valmeyer, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Route 3 at North Moore Street. Also cited in the incident was Drake Hicks, 19, of Columbia, for unlawful consumption of alcohol.
A report of damage to concrete pillars outside of Waterloo Cinema, 113 Plaza Drive, is under investigation.
Sept. 10
Cody Gibbs, 20, of Waterloo, was cited for unlawful possession of alcohol and improper lane usage on North Market Street at Columbia Avenue.
