Columbia Police

Sept. 4 – A new Jeep being driven off the Royal Gate lot by Holly Buhler, 33, of Valmeyer, was struck by an Acura driven by Karen Harriss, 32, of Columbia, on Admiral Trost Boulevard at Admiral Weinel Boulevard near the entrance to Walgreens and flipped over around 3:15 p.m. Buhler was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis for non-life-threatening injuries. Harriss was cited for failure to yield.

Sept. 8 – James L. Krack, 31, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia at 822 N. Main Street.

Sept. 9 – Harley T. Dell, 24, of Columbia, was arrested on an in-state warrant for domestic battery at 817 N. Briegel Street.
Chrystle L. Dankel, 29, of Red Bud, was arrested on an in-state for deceptive practice on northbound Admiral Parkway at Carl Street.

Sept. 10 – Police and EMS responded to the 300 block of North Main shortly after 8 p.m., after a child ran into the side of moving car. The child, who suffered only minor scrapes, did not require medical transport. The driver of the vehicle, William Easterday, 33, of Swansea, was arrested for driving while license suspended.

Monroe County Sheriff

Aug. 31 – A 2001 Jeep Cherokee driven by Tod W. Bradshaw, 48, of Maeystown, was traveling eastbound on KK Road at the intersection of Maeystown Road around 8:20 p.m., when it collided with a 1998 Chevy Silverado driven by Derek K. Hoffmann, 16, of Fults, which was traveling southbound on Maeystown Road. Bradshaw was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis for treatment of injuries. He was cited for failure to yield and driving without insurance.

Sept. 4 – A possible violation of an order of protection at 110 S. Main Street in Hecker is under investigation.

Sept. 7 – Aaron Liefer, 28, of Waterloo, was arrested on a probation violation.

Dustin Schlemmer, 23, of Waterloo, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant.

Sept. 8 – Matt Hankammer, 31, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

Waterloo Police

Sept. 9 – Duane Stemmley, 43, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (heroin), driving while license revoked, failure to signal and improper lane usage on Route 3 at Country Club Lane. A passenger, David Shelton, 49, of Waterloo, was arrested for unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe.
