Columbia Police

Aug. 13

Tanner B. Hall, 20, of Columbia, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Adderall) and possession of cannabis on Cherry Street at Tower Hill. Also arrested for cannabis possession in the incident were Christopher M. Buesking, 19, and Arek M. Boren, 20, both of Columbia.

Aug. 14

Kristen R. Whitt-Surovy, 32, of Columbia, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 206 Longview Drive.

Aug. 16

Joseph G. Palmier, 30, of Columbia, was arrested for battery after he allegedly placed his hands around the neck of Bernard Toenjes and shoved him off a barstool into another patron, Dennis Pieper, knocking both to the ground at Gruchala’s, 548 S. Main.

Jamie K. Hurst, 31, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, no valid license, speeding and failure to properly secure child on Admiral Parkway northbound at Veterans Parkway.

 

Monroe County Sheriff

Aug. 7

The theft of diesel fuel from gas cans and gasoline from a mower at 7777 State Route 156 is under investigation.

The theft of a 400 turbo transmission and 10 car wheels at 4438 is under investigation.

Aug. 8

The theft of a weed eater at 5632 G Road is under investigation.

Aug. 14

Hardy Hammonds, 27, of Red Bud, was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol in Hecker.

The theft of aluminum cans and aluminum window frames at 3035 Sutterville Road is under investigation.

Aug. 15

The theft of cast iron and scrap metal valued at more than $1,000 at 4510 Doyle Road is under investigation.

Aug. 16

Trevor A. Burgess, 20, of Waterloo, was cited for possession of alcohol on Grand Prairie Drive at Sunflower Drive.

Aug. 17

The theft of wiring and a large trolley that runs a wench at 5232 Kaskaskia Road is under investigation.

Dustin Schreder, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant.

Aug. 18

A semi trailer was stolen from Stamm Trucking at 4019 State Route 159, Red Bud.

Aug. 19

Three Waterloo males, ages 17 and 18, were issued alcohol-related citations following a 2 a.m. traffic stop on HH Road.

 

Waterloo Police

Aug. 12

Jeff M. Schumer, 22, of Columbia, was arrested for retail theft at U-Gas after allegedly taking a 1.75 liter bottle of Jim Beam.

Aug. 15

Clint J. Schaefer, 18, and Adam W. Maes, 18, both of Red Bud, were cited along with a 16-year-old male for unlawful possession of alcohol on Route 3 southbound north of Illinois Avenue.

Aug. 18

Kimberly A. Boehne, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested for unlawful use of an intoxicating compound (huffing), three counts of endangering the health or welfare of a child, and unlawful possession of a firearm without FOID at 304 E. Fourth Street.
