Columbia Police
Aug. 11
Renee M. Hessling, 41, of Festus, Mo., was arrested for felony theft (over $500), attempted theft, possession of cannabis and driving while license suspended following an incident at Quality Rental, 1331 Frontage Road. Also arrested for felony theft and attempted theft were Lisa L. Lemp, 43, and Brandon J. Hodge, 30, both of Cahokia. Court information alleges that the three suspects stole two brush cutters from the business.
Aug. 13
Michael M. Wood, 37, of Columbia, was charged with felony driving while license revoked (fifth offense) following a July 9 arrest.
Aug. 15
Zina Marie Smith, 24, of Benton, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance on I-255 northbound.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 11
Charles E. Mansfield, 40, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant on Route 3 at Old Red Bud Road.
Aug. 12
Susan J. Rhodes, 53, of Dupo, was arrested for DUI, no valid license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident in the area of 5371 Sportsman Road. The crash occurred about 10 p.m., and resulted in her passenger, Terry G. Kirk of Columbia, requiring medical transport by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of injuries.
A possible report of harassment by telephone on Kaskaskia Road is under investigation.
Aug. 13
Camille L. Parker, 43, of Hecker, was charged with felony driving while license revoked (second offense) following her July 8 arrest.
Aug. 14
Steven M. Few, 49, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Route 3 at Kaskaskia Road.

Waterloo Police
Aug. 10
Jennifer L. Jones, 32, of Valmeyer, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Park Street at Creekside Drive.
Aug. 11
Alexis N. Henry, 19, of Red Bud, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart. She is alleged to have stolen shoes, Benadryl and other items.
Aug. 13
Jonathan Schlemmer, 38, of Valmeyer, was charged with battery following a March 24 incident at Mystic Oak in which he allegedly punched and kicked a male subject.
Aug. 16
Jennifer Holdren, 33, and Edward S. Lambert, 41, both of Belleville, were each arrested for felony retail theft (previous conviction) at Walmart. They are alleged to have taken BBQ sauce and clothing.
