Columbia Police
Aug. 8 – Douglas H. North, 42, of Dorsey, was arrested for an Edgar County warrant on DD Road at the railroad tracks.
Aug. 8 – Ben L. Boyer, 21, of Waterloo, was cited for criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to a residence in the 100 block of Clearwater Court. Court information alleges Boyer shattered the windshield of a 2007 Dodge Caliber during the incident.
Aug. 9 – Tamara L. Toon, 43, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 9 – Columbia emergency services worked two separate crashes on Admiral Parkway. At 4:27 a.m., Nicholas Meier, 37, of Waterloo, was traveling south approaching Mark Drive when he came upon a 1999 Ford F-350 driven by Matthew Wyatt, 47, of St. Louis, stopped in his lane. Meier was unable to stop his Toyota Camry and rear-ended the truck. Wyatt was cited for driving while license suspended. At 1:30 p.m., a 1992 Ford semi-truck with a flatbed tractor-trailer driven by James Hollingsworth, 50, of Cedar Hill, Mo., was traveling north approaching North Main Street when a southbound red Pontiac turned left in front of the semi. In his attempt to avoid a collision, the semi ran into the median and jackknifed. No tickets were issued.
Aug. 11 – Travis W. Odle, 30 of St. Louis, was arrested on a Jackson County warrant.
Aug. 12 – Gordon L. Beasley, 60, of St. Louis, was arrested for felony retail theft and driving while license revoked at CVS, 100 Admiral Trost Drive. Court information alleges Beasley stole 13 bottles of liquor valued at $493.78 from the store.
Aug. 15 – Shortly before 5 p.m., Columbia police responded to the 300 block of Carl Street to investigate an alleged residential burglary. The homeowner believes the crime occurred between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. An Illinois State Police crime scene unit assisted with the investigation. There were no signs of forced entry.

Illinois State Police
Aug. 9 – Regina L. Dillard, 33, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI following a 3 a.m. crash on Interstate 64 eastbound in Jefferson County. Dillard was transported to a Mt. Vernon hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 7 – Tara Seidel, 37, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 7 – Thomas Cahoon, 31, of Red Bud, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 10 – David Powell, 28, was arrested on a Randolph County warrant.
Aug. 11 – Justin Vaughn, 27, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant.
Aug. 11 – Eric J. Done, 31, of Hecker, was cited for harassment by electronic device.
Aug. 11 – Zachary A. Buckman, 20, of Waterloo, was charged with DUI in connection with a July 13 crash on Route 156.
Aug. 12 – Dwayne Metzger, 48, of Waterloo, was issued a warrant for failing to appear on an ordinance violation.

Waterloo Police
July 30 – Brian Nobbe, 55, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage on Bradford Lane. Dennis Nobbe, 60, of Coconut Grove, Fla., was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 9 – Adam P. Phelps, 18, of Waterloo, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) stemming from a June 18 traffic stop.
Aug. 10 – Courtney Sperduto, 21, of Glen Carbon, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident that occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. on North Market Street at Covington Drive near Arby’s. One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the two-car crash.
Aug. 10 – Waterloo police are investigating an altercation involving three men that occurred about 9:15 p.m. outside of Fourth Street Bar, 301 S. Moore Street, resulting in one person transported to an area hospital. No charges have been filed, as police are still conducting interviews. Police said a pocketknife was used by one man involved in the incident.
Aug. 12 – Bryan Conway, 26, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to report a crash that occurred shortly after 2 a.m. in the 500 block of Mary Drive. Conway’s Ford Escape struck a parked vehicle and overturned in the incident, police said.
Aug. 12 – Shae Huebner, 25, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Route 3 at Waterloo Commons.
Aug. 12 – Police are investigating a domestic battery reported shortly before 11 p.m. in the 700 block of North Market Street.
Aug. 15 – Lindsay M. Macklin, 28, of St. Louis, was arrested for DUI, no insurance, disobeying a stop sign and illegal transportation of alcohol on Route 3 at South Library Street.
