Columbia Police
Aug. 5
Joshua W. Gutierrez, 20, of Rolla, Mo., was arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding on I-255 northbound.
Aug. 6
Bradley Schafer, 25, of Nixa, Mo., was arrested on an in-state warrant at the police station.
Aug. 9
Thomas M. Rachels, 43, of Columbia, was arrested for domestic battery in the 2600 block of Lakeshore Drive.
Aug. 10
Ginny S. Gregory, 53, of Fenton, Mo., was arrested at Phillips 66, 1553 N. Main Street, for DUI (drugs) and driving in the wrong lane.
Jason Yaekel, 31, of Columbia, was charged with endangering the life of a child following a May 3 incident at 123 Wedgewood Drive.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 3
Joseph D. Smith, 60, of Columbia, was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained when the 2006 Yamaha X11 motorcycle he was driving crashed on D Road just north of Oak Ridge Drive about 1 a.m.
A possible report of child abuse on Old Red Bud Road is under investigation. The Department of Child and Family Services has been notified.
Aug. 5
A possible burglary in the 4200 block of FF Road is under investigation. A woman said an unidentified man entered her home during the mid-afternoon through an open garage door but she scared him off. A K-9 unit was used for tracking but the subject was not located. An Illinois State Police crime scene unit assisted in processing the home for evidence.
Vicki Moore of Waterloo was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant.
Adam Perjak of Waterloo was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant.
Aug. 6
Jack Firkins of Alorton was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Aug. 7
Milliard Carpenter of St. Louis and Tasha Simmons of St. Charles, Mo., were each arrested on Monroe County warrants.
Aug. 8
Scott McCoy, 46, no address given, was arrested for domestic battery and violating an order of protection in the 5600 block of G Road.

Waterloo Police
Aug. 7
Grant Feldt, 24, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant in the 500 block of Mary Drive.
Michael D. Brooks, 28, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Aug. 10
James Calvin, 46, of Alton, was charged with domestic battery following a July 24 incident at J.Fires’ Market Bistro, 725 N. Market Street.
