July 24

Police are investigating two early morning burglaries to vehicles in the area off Quarry Road — one in the 300 block of Armin Circle and a second in the 1500 block of Gedern. Both vehicles had items taken from inside. In one of the burglaries, a garage door remote was removed and the garage was accessed with items taken from inside. “We ask our citizens to report any suspicious activity immediately, lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables inside your vehicles in plain view unsecured,” CPD Deputy Chief Jerry Paul said.

 

July 25

Nicole M. Warren, 44, of Dupo, was arrested for unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (120 hydrocodone pills) at 1010 Nevada Street.

 

July 26

Deborah L. Getchman, 38, of Leslie, Mo., was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) following an incident that occurred May 17.

 

Chad M. Laramore, 26, of Columbia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) following an incident that occurred June 16.

 

July 27

Jason M. Fitzgibbons, 22, of Granite City, was arrested on multiple Monroe County warrants on I-255 northbound at milepost 6.

 

Kelly N. Kueker, 23, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and failure to signal on Route 3 southbound at Gilmore Lake Road.

 

William O. Haag, 70, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol in the 100 block of Gall Road.

 

Monroe County Sheriff

July 23

Aaron S. Liefer of Waterloo was arrested on an in-state warrant.

 

July 24

David R. Madden of Belleville was arrested for violation of an order of protection on HH Road.

 

July 25

Kiefer Rosier, 21, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery on Brandwoods Drive.

 

Reports of burglaries to vehicles at 8030 and 8054 Lakewood Drive, 1013 Country Club Lane, 5601 Cardinal Drive, and 8020 Barn Road are under investigation, with GPS devices, a radar detector and cash among the items taken.

 

July 26

A report of radiators stolen from a scrap pile and a toolbox taken at 5039 Coxeyville Road is under investigation.

 

Justin A. Cox of Columbia was arrested on a warrant at the fairgrounds.

 

July 27

Troy Fohne of Columbia was arrested on a warrant.

 

Waterloo Police

July 21

Rachel Bivins, 23, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI in the 200 block of N. Moore Street.

 

July 23

Bryant Ham, 19, of Waterloo, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in the 700 block of Morrison.

 

July 24

Randy Smith Jr., 18, of New Athens, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol at the fairgrounds.

 

July 27

Todd Jahr, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested for retail theft at Randy’s Double R Bar after allegedly taking lottery tickets.
