Columbia Police
July 7
Devon M. Buckley, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of cannabis on West Park Drive at Tree Ridge Drive.
No injuries were reported after a 2006 Chevy Malibu driven by Susan Slusser, 28, of Columbia, struck a guardrail on Valmeyer Road at Columbia Centre about 7:15 p.m. A wasp inside her car apparently distracted the driver, police said.
July 9
Roman P. Foster, 21, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI, possession of cannabis, failure to signal and expired registration.
July 10
James A. Wissmann, 35, of Imperial, Mo., was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
July 12
Darrin D. Sharp, 41, of Columbia, was arrested for domestic battery at 237 Veterans Parkway.

Illinois State Police
July 7
Cynthia J. Duncan, 21, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI on Route 3 southbound at Palmer Road.

June 27
A 2012 Chevy Sonic driven by Shirley E. Daniels, 68, of Baldwin, struck the rear of a brush hog being pulled on a John Deere tractor driven by Elmer Pollard, 50, of Red Bud, on Route 3 southbound just south of J Road about 9 p.m. Daniels was transported to Red Bud Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
July 6
A resident on Gilmore Lake Road reported a possible forged check. The incident is under investigation.
The theft of an air filter and high-performance carburetor from a truck in the area of 9400 Brickey Road is under investigation.
July 10
John Carner, 55, and Dawn Parker, 45, both of Alton, Mo., were issued notices to appear on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on North Market Street in Waterloo.

Waterloo Police
July 8
Donald Hosfeld, 24, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant at Sunset Motel, 206 South Market Street.
July 10
Cole Vetter, 20, of Waterloo, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol at 107 South Main Street.
