Columbia Police
June 2
A 17-year-old Columbia man was arrested for no seat belt and also on an in-state warrant on Bottom Avenue.
June 3
Two juveniles were cited for curfew in the 2400 block of Columbia Lakes Drive at about 3:30 a.m. Another juvenile was cited for a curfew violation at Shadow Ridge and Prairie Run.
June 5
A juvenile was cited for possession of cannabis on Lepp Street at Metter Avenue.
Police and ambulance personnel responded about 10:45 p.m. for the report of a female pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area of Admiral Parkway (Route 3) and Wedgewood Drive near Midwest Petroleum. The woman was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The woman told police she was standing in the median at that location when she was “blindsided” by a white truck or SUV. Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle.
Jacquelyn J. Marion, 44, of St. Louis, was arrested on an in-state warrant.
Dennis E. Shine, 47, of Fontana, Kan., was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, obstructing justice and on a fugitive from justice out-of-state warrant on Route 3 northbound at Eagle Drive. Also arrested was Stephanie S. Ahlfield, 39, of Carbondale, on an in-state warrant.
June 6
Jill C. Shaw, 32, of Columbia, was arrested for domestic battery at 323 Clint Circle.
June 7
Travis S. Buschmann, 31, of Maryland Heights, Mo., was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia on Route 3 northbound at North Main Street.

Monroe County Sheriff
June 1
A break-in at Maeystown Village Hall, 1030 Mill Street, is under investigation. The outer and inner doors were damaged, but nothing was reported missing from the building. An Illinois State Police crime scene unit was called to assist in the case.
Sabrina Stawizynski of Columbia was arrested on two in-state warrants.
June 2
The theft of one 50-pound roll and six 25-pound bars of copper from the bed of a semi truck at the new Ameren substation at 318 State Route 158 in Columbia is under investigation.
June 3
The theft of gasoline from a 2011 Chevy Suburban parked in the area of 8000 Gall Road is under investigation.
June 5
Matt Hankammer of Columbia was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
June 6
A battery reported on Washington Street in Renault is under investigation.
A two-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. in the area of 6820 LL Road, resulting in one person transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. No other information was immediately available.
June 8
A break-in that occurred between 6:30 p.m. on June 7 and 1 p.m. on June 8 in the area of 6000 State Route 3 is under investigation, with nearly three gallons of gasoline reported stolen.

Waterloo Police
June 3
Nathan Jaycox, 28, of Hecker, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at Konarcik Park. He was also arrested on a Randolph County failure to appear warrant.
June 8
Leslie Jo Adams, 44, and Howard L. Adams, 45, both of Dupo, were each charged with retail theft for a May 14 incident at Walmart. A hatchet was stolen from the store.
A reported break-in at the Sunset Motel on South Market Street is under investigation. The incident is believed to have occurred about 6 p.m. on June 7, with a possible suspect vehicle being a Trailblazer with Alabama plates.
