Columbia Police

June 14 – James F. O’Day Jr., 56, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage on Sand Bank Road.

June 15 – An Illinois Department of Transportation speed trailer positioned along southbound Route 3 near North Main Street was struck and destroyed during a crash about 2 a.m. The driver of a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer, Mark Rausch, 24, of Smithton, told police he fell asleep and drove off the roadway into the speed trailer. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

June 16 – Scott L. Asadorian, 27, of Florissant, Mo., was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant and for speeding, no insurance and a Monroe County warrant on Admiral Parkway at Carl Street.

Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern IL

June 13 – William McDaniel, 46, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

June 13 – Amanda Coleman, 42, of Sparta, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone).

Monroe County Sheriff

June 11 – Faith D. Gibbs, 24, was arrested on warrants out of Collinsville and Pontoon Beach.

June 12 – Chase J. Bauer, 19, of Ruma, was cited for improper use of an electronic device following a two-vehicle crash on Route 159 at Braun Road.

June 13 – A 2005 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Catherine Martin, 71, of Valmeyer, was traveling west on Woodland Ridge about a half mile east of Bluff Road when it lost control for unknown reasons, hit a guardrail and struck an embankment before rolling over about 10 a.m. Martin was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of unspecified injuries.

June 15 – Pete M. Goodman, 44, of Waterloo, was arrested for felony domestic battery (prior conviction) on Old Red Bud Road.

June 15 – Christopher Chumley, 51, of Waterloo, was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to notify of an accident following an evening crash on Gall Road about a half mile north of Schewe Falls.

June 15 – Denise Range, 31, of Dupo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

June 17 – The possible theft of items from a residence and shed in the area of 8300 D Road is under investigation.

Waterloo Police

June 12 – Eddy O. Kitchell II, 38, of St. Louis, was arrested at Sunset Motel, 206 S. Market Street, for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and on a fugitive from justice warrant out of St. Charles, Mo.

June 15 – Jacob Cobb-Plumber, 19, Isaiah Bicklein, 18, and Gage Byrd, 19, all of Waterloo, were cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol at Walmart, 961 N. Market Street.

June 16 – Chauncey Lester, 21, of Swansea, was arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, obstructing identification, speeding and driving while license suspended at Mobil On the Run, 1000 N. Illinois Route 3.

June 16 – James Huff, 53, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), illegal transportation of alcohol and driving while license suspended on Route 3 at North Market Street.

June 17 – The theft of an iPad from a vehicle while it was in the parking lot of Schnucks or Rural King between 10:30 and 11 a.m. is under investigation.
