Columbia Police
April 5
Bryan D. Condra, 23, of St. Louis, was arrested for DUI and speeding at 77 Veterans Parkway.
April 6
Police assisted the Columbia Fire Department in responding about 1 p.m. to a property on Palmer Creek Drive following a report that a construction crew had cut a gas line. The gas had been quickly shut off following the accident and no injuries were reported.

Illinois State Police
April 3
Police, fire and emergency personnel responded about 6:30 a.m. Friday to a crash involving an overturned semi in the rain on Interstate 255 near Dupo. The southbound semi rolled on its side on the ramp between Route 3 and the interstate, police said. ISP said there was a downpour at the time and the driver of the truck was driving too fast for conditions. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

March 31    
Jonathan Medina, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation, improper lane usage and no valid drivers license in the Circle K parking lot in Waterloo.
April 1
Jacob M. Reeder, 19, of Columbia, was arrested for unlawful use of weapons (metal knuckles) at Career Center of Southern Illinois on Beck Road.
Eddie Hodge of Cahokia was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
April 2
Four juveniles were cited in the area of South Market Street and Hartman Street in Waterloo about 2:25 a.m. for unlawful consumption of alcohol following a traffic stop.
April 3
Richard R. Gsell, 48, of St. Louis, was arrested for felony DUI and felony driving while license revoked on KK Road.
Ryan P. Demond, 30, of Burksville, was issued a county ordinance violation for playing loud music in the area of KK Road at Kaskaskia Road.
April 4
Several mailboxes throughout the county were reported to have been damaged overnight. The incidents are under investigation.
April 7
The Waterloo Fire Department was dispatched about 7:30 a.m. to 4051 JJ Road after a woman struck a propane tank on the property with her car. The gas was shut off quickly after the incident occurred, and the situation was resolved without injury or damage.

Waterloo Police
April 1
A juvenile was arrested for possession of cannabis at Waterloo High School.
April 4
Nicole L. Matthews, 23, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, resisting arrest and improper lane usage on North Market Street at Hamacher Street.
April 5
Paigelynn Vielweber, 18, of Millstadt, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1019 North Illinois Route 3.
