Columbia Police
March 28
Jessica R. Marth, 27, of Collinsville, was arrested on an in-state warrant and cited for expired registration plate on I-255 northbound.

Monroe County Sheriff
March 16    
Eugene Stadter, 71, of Red Bud, was arrested for battery following an incident on Doyle Road.

March 17
A resident on Bluff Road near Columbia reported the fraudulent transfer of funds from his bank account after someone apparently hacked into his email.

March 18
Clair “Daniel” McGinnis, 51, of Waterloo, was transported from St. Louis and arrested for felony aggravated battery stemming from a Jan. 19 incident in the county.

March 19
Dustin Higgerson of East Carondelet was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant.

March 20
Emergency personnel responded about 2:35 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident on Route 156 at C Road in Valmeyer. A 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Christina K. Muertz, 34, and a 2012 GMC Sierra driven by Marvin A. Lloyd, 72, of Waterloo, were the vehicles involved. Lloyd was transported to Belleville Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

March 21
Alyssa Burch of Dupo was arrested for a Monroe County failure to appear warrant on Bradford Lane at North Market Street.

Victoria Voss of Waterloo was arrested for a Monroe County failure to appear warrant on Route 156 at Cemetery Road.

A burglary was reported in the area of 8300 D Road. A coin collection (84 coins) were reported stolen between March 16-18.

March 22
Michelle Meyer of Waterloo was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on Kaskaskia Road.

March 23
Andrew Bell of St. Louis was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

March 26
Quentin Hughes of East St. Louis was arrested on a Madison County failure to appear warrant and for no valid drivers license on Route 3 at KK Road.

March 29
Ryan Schlemmer of Columbia was cited for failure to report a vehicle accident to police.

March 30
Several more cases of identity theft related to online tax return filings have been reported to local police.

Waterloo Police
March 22
Tyler Lawrence, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested on Monroe and Randolph County warrants.

March 28
Devin Conaway, 21, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and cited for illegal screeching of tires and reckless driving on Fourth Street at South Library Street.

John Carner, 36, of Waterloo, was arrested on two counts of battery, one count of domestic battery, aggravated assault of a police officer and resisting arrest at 14 Victor Street.

Camren Shewfelt, 19, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and Nathan Schnaak, 19, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of cannabis at U-Gas, 1000 N. Illinois Route 3.
