Columbia Police
Feb. 22 – Donna L. Powell, 47, of Waterloo, was arrested for theft at Midwest Petroleum, 1553 N. Main Street.
Feb. 23 – Damian M. Caito, 41, of Belleville, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Feb. 26 – Courtney M. Korves, 27, of East St. Louis, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on I-255.
Feb. 26 – Candace D. Cooley, 18, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant at the police department.
Feb. 27 – Jason S. Skiles, 33, of Hillsboro, Mo., was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant.
Feb. 28 – Danielle M. Brown, 23, of Columbia, was arrested for domestic battery at 609 Ludman Lane. Also arrested at that location was Matthew R. Schanuel, 24, of Columbia, for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 28 – A 17-year-old was arrested for DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol on D Road near Stumpf Lane at about 2 a.m. Also arrested in the incident were a 17-year-old and two 16-year-olds for unlawful possession of alcohol and curfew violations.

Monroe County Sheriff
Feb. 23 – The theft of a car following a transaction that originated from Craigslist is under investigation. At about 8 p.m., three black females met with a resident in the 800 block of Country Club Lane for the purpose of conducting a vehicle sale. One of the women took a black Pontiac Grand Prix for a drive, but never returned. The car, which was without license plates at the time of the theft, has not been located.
Feb. 26 – Jason Brennan, 39, of Coulterville, was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant.
Feb. 26 – Joseph Allscheid, 19, of Caseyville, was cited for illegal possession of alcohol on Briar Creek Lane at HH Road.
Feb. 27 – Blake A. Schult, 20, of Waterloo, was cited for illegal possession of alcohol on Maeystown Road at Ahne Road.
Feb. 27 – Samantha Ahrens, 23, of Valmeyer, was arrested on a petition to revoke probation warrant on Main Street in Valmeyer.
Feb. 27 – The theft of a tractor with attached mower from an unlocked shed in the 1700 area of Lakeview Drive is under investigation.
Feb. 28 – Red Bud Fire Department personnel assisted Monroe County EMS and the sheriff’s department in responding to a two-car crash on Route 159 about one mile north of LL Road at about 7 p.m. A 2015 Chevy Cruze driven by Vickie L. Miller, 63, of Mascoutah, was backing out of a private drive when it was struck by a northbound 1987 Mercury Cougar driven by James M. Viviano, 55, of Belleville. Viviano and a passenger in his car, Jacqueline E. Davis, 58, of Smithton, were transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville for treatment of injuries.
Feb. 28 – Alex J. Bauer, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic crash on Route 156 just west of Waterloo at about 11 p.m., during which an HTC telephone pole was struck. No injuries were reported.

Waterloo Police
Feb. 9 – Julia M. Gallo, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart after allegedly taking bottles of liquor.
Feb. 24 – Sarah Aldridge, 38, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant at 322 W. Fourth Street.
Feb. 24 – Amanda Jackson, 30, of Waterloo, was arrested for failing to appear on a city ordinance violation.
Feb. 27 – Harley Howard, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and unlawful use of weapon (pistol in car) on Route 3 at Kevin Street.
March 1 – The report of a front window broken out of a home at 23 Victor Street is under investigation.
