Columbia Police

Oct. 1

Jason A. Davis, 33, of St. Louis, was arrested on an in-state warrant on Columbia Lakes Drive at Elmwood.

Oct. 5

St. Louis County police and Mehlville fire personnel received assistance from Columbia police and fire when a Missouri female pulled her vehicle over on I-255 and proceeded to sit on the railing of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge around 6:30 a.m. Police were able to talk the woman out of potentially jumping into the river after about 40 minutes.

Shortly after the bridge incident had been resolved, Columbia firefighters were called to a dumpster fire behind an apartment building at 416 South Main Street.

Oct. 6

Julia A. Conner, 43, of Columbia, was arrested at 941 Meadowview Lane for DUI, leaving the scene of a crash and failure to report a crash.

Oct. 8

Christopher T. Stewart, 21, of Columbia, was arrested for domestic battery.

Monroe County Sheriff

Oct. 2

Thefts at 7648 LL Road and 5158 Kern Road are under investigation. A riding lawn mower was taken from the front yard on LL Road; a red dirt bike was taken from the front of the Kern Road home.
Carol Anglin, 61, of Pevely, Mo., was arrested on a Monroe County warrant for deceptive practice.

Oct. 7

Deputies were called to 6346 Konarcik Road, after residents there complained that a hot air balloon carrying 16 passengers landed on the property after it was refused permission to do so.

The theft of a vehicle license plate and damage to a door and pool liner at 5263 Rock Road is under investigation.

Jeremy Goeddel, 27, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on the shoulder north of Hecker. Also arrested was Carrie Rodenberg, 26, of Fults, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daniel Craft, 44, of Waterloo, was arrested for felony DUI, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding and driving while revoked (third offense) on Route 156.
The theft of $3,000 in gold and diamond jewelry from a home on Asselmeier Estates is under investigation. There were no signs of forced entry.

Waterloo Police

Oct. 1

Charles Forester II, 34, of East St. Louis, was arrested for retail theft from Walmart.

Oct. 2

Two juveniles were arrested for retail theft at Walmart.

Oct. 4

A counterfeit $50 bill was used at a Schnucks check-out counter in Waterloo around 1:10 p.m.

A iPhone was reported stolen at Waterloo High School.
