Alison Ann O’Riley and Kaelan Joseph Mudd of Waterloo have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Patricia O’Riley of Waterloo. She is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Southwestern Illinois College, where she studied early childhood education. She is employed at Children First Learning Center.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Gerry and Susan Mudd of Waterloo. He is a graduate of Gibault Catholic High School and Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. He is employed at AT&T.

The couple are planning a Sept. 17, 2016, wedding.
