Emergency personnel responded shortly after 9 p.m. Monday to an injury crash involving a white Nissan Aveo and a dump truck pulling a trailer on Route 3 at Gall Road near the Jaycee ball diamonds in Waterloo.

The Waterloo Police Department, Waterloo Fire Department and Monroe County EMS responded to the crash.

Initial reports are that the car pulled out in front of the dump truck. Two occupants of the car, both male, were transported by ambulances to St. Louis hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
