Mary Charlotte Zimmer, 87, of Waterloo, died July 13, 2015, in St. Louis.

She was born Jan. 29, 1928,  in Red Bud, daughter of the late William H. and Marie J. Zimmer (nee Miller).

Mary was a Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church member.

She graduated from Waterloo High School in 1945 and went to work in the insurance business. Over the years she was advanced to supervisor of her department. She retired as personal lines underwriter in January 1992.

She is survived by her goddaughter Jolie Hern, close friend Mary Kay Reinhold, and a host of friends and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday, July 25, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Ss. Peter & Paul CatholicChurch, Waterloo,

A funeral Mass will celebrated July 25, at 10 a.m., at the church, Rev. Sebastian Ukoh, C.M. officiating,

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be made to: Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic School or Gibault Catholic High School.
