Mary Catherine Crook

Mary Catherine Crook (nee Miller), 81, of Waterloo, died July 5, 2018, in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 23, 1936, in Waterloo, son of the late Raymond J. and Catherine E.   Miller (nee Crook).

She was a member Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Valmeyer American Legion Auxiliary and Red Bud Senior Circle. She was a volunteer at Jefferson Barracks and an avid dancer.

She is survived by her children Janet (Robert) Mitchell, Nancy (George) Schmidt, Paul (Debbie) Crook, Judy (Michael) Klein, Brenda Crook and Gina Arnold, and Wanda (Gary) Juelfs; daughter-in-law Karen Crook; grandchildren Daniel (Sally) Crook, Jamie (Daniel) Schindler, Tonya (Tim) Schilling, Heather (Bobby) Grindstaff, Angela (Jim) Marquardt, Michael (Krysta) Schmidt, Eric (Miranda) Schmidt, Andrea (Casey) Blanchard, Matthew Crook, Jeremy (Amanda) Klein, Bethany (Austin) Hoggard, Amanda Williams, Alazne Arnold, Angel (Matt) Pruitt, Eugene Arnold, Kayla (Tommy) Schwartz, Justin Juelfs, and Laura Juelfs; 19 great-grandchildren; special friend Stan Rodgers; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold H. Crook; son Tim H. Crook; and granddaughter Jennifer A. Crook.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. July 8, and 8-10 a.m. July 9, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. July 9, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Rev. Sebastian Ukoh, C.M. officiating.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions in the form of Masses at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, or  St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud.
