Margaret A. Doering

Margaret A.  “Margie” Doering (nee Schifferdecker), 76, of Waterloo, died May 10, 2016, in St. Louis.

She was born July 27, 1939, in Modoc, daughter of the late Herbert J. and Caroline J. (nee Schicker) Schifferdecker.

Margaret was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Waterloo High Rollers Bunco Club.

She is survived by her sisters Mary (Robert) Huch, and Ramona (Steven) Eschmann; brother Terry (Sandy) Schifferdecker; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas J. Doering and brother George Schifferdecker.

Visitation is May 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., and May 13, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated May 13, at 10 a.m., at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Rev. Sebastian Ukoh, C.M. officiating

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic School or Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo.
