Matthew and Heather Schaefer of Columbia announce the birth of their daughter, Maisy Heather Schaefer.

She was born at 10 a.m. Aug. 31, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She was welcomed to the world by big brother Mason, 2.5.

Her paternal grandparents are Norman and Clara Schaefer.

Maternal grandparents are Dennis and Bonnie Everding.

Great-grandparents are Elisabeth Weilbacher and Florence Lenhardt.
