Lorraine E. Douglas

Lorraine E.  Douglas (nee Clark), 86, of Waterloo died Nov. 26, 2016, in Waterloo.

She was born March 18, 1930, in Waterloo, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alma Clark (nee Bertram).

Lorraine was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul  Catholic Church, Waterloo.

She is survived by her husband, Duel R. Douglas; children Stephen Douglas, Michelle Bergauer, Rebecca Timken, Michael (Laura) Douglas, and Philip (Rebecca) Douglas; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Donald (Dina) Clark and William (Joann) Clark; sisters Helen Havey and Jean (Michael) Ahne; sisters-in-law Mary Clark and Faye Peeler (nee Douglas); brother-in-law Herman Dammermann; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jacob Douglas, brother Paul Clark, and sister Ann Dammermann.

Visitation was Nov. 28, at  Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 29, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Father Osang Idagbo C.M. officiating.

Interment followed at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, United Cerebral Palsy, or donor’s choice.
