The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo Millers baseball player Logan Mueth.

The right-handed-hitting first baseman is currently ranked sixth in the Mon-Clair League in hitting at .437.

Mueth, a 2017 graduate of Fontbonne who earned all-conference baseball honors at the university, had an RBI single and a stolen base in Waterloo’s 4-3 win over Fairview Heights at the Valmeyer Mid-Summer Classic on Sunday. (Corey Saathoff photo)
