Lindsay Ann Springer | Obituary

Lindsay Ann Springer, nee Walsh, 37, of Waterloo, died Feb. 7, 2015 after an extended illness.

She was born September 2, 1977 in Kankakee, the daughter of Paul Walsh and Julia Waskosky.

She attended Bishop McNamara High School and graduated from the registered nursing program at Kankakee Community College. Lindsay was a member of Momentum Church in Columbia.

Lindsay was a beautiful, kind, loving Christian woman and a beloved member of the community. Her gentle spirit, friendly smile and sparkling eyes naturally put others at ease. She loved spending time with family and friends, camping, boating, and girl’s night out.

Lindsay is survived by her husband Mark A. Springer; children Austin, 19, Mason, 13, Ryan, 11, Carson, 8, and Morgan, 7; her mother Julia (Jim) Waskosky; sister Jennifer (Shane) Boland and her brother Luke Walsh; her sister-in-law: Christine Springer; brother-in-law: Matthew Mundy; mother-in-law Debra Burton; father-in-law Michael (Sandy) Springer and step mother Maggie (Johnson) Walsh.

Preceded in death by her father Paul L. Walsh.

Visitation will be from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 and 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 16 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 at the funeral home, with a reception to immediately follow.

Memorials will be dedicated to the education of her children.
