Larry V. Lark

Larry V. Lark, 71, of rural Williamsfield, Illinois, died April 6, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Larry was born on April 24, 1944, in St. Louis, son of the late Vernon and Mary Lark (nee Dohrmann).

He married Phyllis E. Davis on Dec. 12, 1987, in Yates City.

Larry managed Crop Production Services in Douglas for 30 years. He was a member of the Yates City Masonic Lodge, past board member of the American Trap Association, and member of the Peoria Skeet & Trap Club. He enjoyed shooting trap and fishing, and he was avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Surviving are his wife; three step-daughters, Jamy Jordan Lindsey of Hanna City, Diane Johnson of Galesburg, and Sheryl (Bret) Weaver of Canton; five grandchildren, Corey and Cyle LaFollett, Meri, Bryce, and Brock Lindsey; one sister, RuthAnn Mitchell of Columbia; two nieces, Tammy (Darren) Hines and their children, Braden and Kelton, and Holly Mitchell-Dreher, and her child, Max.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law O’Neal Mitchell.

All friends and family are invited to attend the graveside services on Sunday, April 17, at 2 p.m., at the Yates City Cemetery in Yates City, Rev. Krey Leesman officiating.

Interment will follow at Yates City Cemetery, Yates City.
