Jennifer Marie Large and Brad Edward Nobbe

Jennifer Marie Large and Brad Edward Nobbe, both of Waterloo, were united in marriage at a wedding Mass at two o’clock in the afternoon, on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. The ceremony was held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Taylorville. The celebrant for the ceremony was Monsignor David S. Lantz. Parents of the couple are David and Barbara Large of Owaneco and Thomas and Jane Nobbe of Waterloo.

Given in marriage by her parents, Jennifer was attended by her friend, Lindsay Pifer, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Large, sister-in-law of the bride; Rebecca Nobbe, sister-in-law of the groom; and Maggie Siempelkamp, Megan Cocagne, Lindsay Norris and Morgan Lesiewicz, all friends of the bride.

Jared Nobbe, brother of the groom, served as Brad’s best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Large, brother of the bride; and Blake Meentemeyer, Kyle Row, Chris Mosbacher, Eric Darr and Jason Wesselmann, all friends of the groom.

Guests were seated by Philip Larsen and Brett Row, friends of the groom.

Serving as flower girls for the ceremony were Alice and Rosemary Large, nieces of the bride. David Large, nephew of the bride, and Aiden Nobbe, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearers.

A reception for the couple was held at the Hilton-Downtown Springfield.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and University of Illinois Springfield. She is employed as a sales and service specialist at Farm Credit Illinois in Red Bud.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is the large agriculture equipment sales manager at Wm. Nobbe & Co., Inc. in Waterloo.

Jennifer’s grandparents are Donald and Marcella Large of Owaneco and the late Leo and Pauline Drabant. Brad’s grandparents are Lawrence Beckerle of Columbia, the late Betty Beckerle, and the late Edward and Joyce Nobbe.
