The Valmeyer Lakers hosted a tripleheader at Borsch Memorial Park Sunday. At right, Lakers pitcher D.J. Dillenberger started the game for Valmeyer in their 15-2 victory over the St. Louis Printers. The Lakers bats woke up, putting 26 hits up on the board to the Printers’ nine. Millstadt VFW then delivered the Printers their second loss of the day, 9-2. Below, VFW’s Rob Beatty knocks a single. Valmeyer would go on to notch a big, 4-3, ‘W’ over Millstadt in the final game of the day. The Columbia Saints and Waterloo Millers were rained out.
