Kathleen A. “Katie” Marchwinski

Kathleen A. “Katie” Marchwinski (nee Price), 76, of Waterloo, died Sept. 22, 2017 at Nazareth Living Center, in South St. Louis County, Mo.

She was born Dec. 19, 1940 in East Carondelet, daughter of Lou and Cora Price (nee Wheatley).

Katie was a member of the Dupo High School Class of 1959 luncheon group. She enjoyed being a bingo and casino player.

Surviving are her husband, Ray Marchwinski; her three sons, Michael Marchwinski, Mark (Donna) Marchwinski, and Matt Marchwinski; her daughter, Mary K. Marchwinski; her grandchildren, Dennis, Sharon and Nate (Erika) Marchwinski, Rachel and Brian Marchwinski, and Jeff and Scott Nanney; her sister-in-law, Margaret Price; along with additional brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings James Buren Price, George “Red” Price, Bob Price, Elsie Stafford, Mary Wolf and Quin Ross. 

Visitation was Sept. 26-27, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo. 

Funeral services were Sept. 27, at the funeral home, Rev. Matthew Friz officiating. 

Entombment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, Belleville. 

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
