Hecker fire call on Monday

The Hecker Fire Department was called to 5511 Cedar Ridge Lane about 12:20 p.m. Monday to investigate a report of an electrical smoky smell inside the home.

A resident said she believed her home may have been struck by lightning earlier in the morning.
