The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Gibault Catholic High School volleyball squad. Head coach Heather Ebert’s team is 12-6 following recent wins against New Athens and Cahokia. The Hawks have won eight of their past nine matches heading into Thursday’s contest at Belleville West. Team members include Megan Branz, Ashley Grohmann, Lauren Goldschmidt, Maddie O’Neill, Rachel Lindauer, Bailey Lehman, Kelly Dooley, Caralyn Papenberg, Amanda Schmidt, Molly Branz and Lauren Schmidt.
