Frank D. Miller | Obituary

Frank D.  Miller, 81, of Waterloo, died Nov. 27, 2016, in Waterloo.

He was born June 2, 1935, in Dowell, the son of the late Arthur and Florence Miller (nee Creech).

Frank is a retired school teacher from the Waterloo School District. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Waterloo, Waterloo Sister Cities and member of Retired Teacher’s Association.

He is survived by his wife Margaret C. Miller (nee Ferrill); children Larry Miller, Ron (Lisa) Miller, and Debbie (Dwight) Schaefer; stepson Mark Roush; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers Glenn (Frances) Miller and Mitch (Jackie) Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Ruth Miller (nee Botterbusch); grandson Joseph Miller; stepson Scott Roush, four sisters and one brother.

Visitation was Nov. 29, at  Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Funeral services were Nov. 30, at First Baptist Church of Waterloo, Pastor Steve Neill officiating.

Interment followed at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or Alzheimer’s Association.
