Florence B. Buettner

Florence B. Buettner, nee LoPiccolo, 79, of Waterloo, died June 21, 2014 in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 14, 1934 in St. Louis, daughter of the late Salvatore and Jean LoPiccolo, nee Klein.

She is survived by daughter Christine (Richard) Johnson; grandchildren Ryan (Chrissy) Johnson, Amy (Paul) Stern and Brad Johnson (fiancΓ©e Kasey Gallagher); great-grandchildren Estelle Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Pierson Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Penelope Johnson, Gibson Stern, Cannon Stern, Trysten Johnson and Roxi Embrich; and sisters Fran Cunetto, Janet Fitzsimmons and Cissy Murphy, along with sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward F. β€œFlip” Buettner; son Edward J. Buettner; daughter Cynthia E. Buettner; sisters Clara LoPiccolo and JoAnn Leahy; and brother Joe LoPiccolo.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. June 26 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo and from 9 to 10 a.m. June 27 at Concord Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. June 27 at the church.

Interment will follow at New Hanover Cemetery of Zoar in New Hanover.

Memorials may be made to Legacy Place.
