Night at the Museums | Explore Waterloo

August 10, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Explore Waterloo merchants group is again hosting “Night at the Museums” on Friday, Aug. 10.

This event serves as a great opportunity to learn more about the history of Waterloo. All three museums in town will have special hours for the event.

From 6 to 7 p.m., Bellefontaine House, 700 S. Church Street, will have beer and bratwurst sampling. Matt Schweizer of Hopskeller Brewing Company will lead a question-and-answer session with beer samples to enjoy. There will also be bratwurst sampling from Schneider’s Quality Meats.

From 7 to 8 p.m., the Monroe County History Museum, 724 Elaine Drive, will offer colonial time period dance instruction. The museum will be open with refreshments available.

From 8 to 9 p.m., Peterstown House, 275 N. Main Street, will feature live music on the back lawn. Tim Berg and the Kurtz Family Band will perform. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the free concert.
