Earlene Welch

Earlene Welch (nee Mainer), 84, of Waterloo, died Nov. 1, 2012, in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 11, 1928, in McClure.

She was married to the late Robert E. Welch.

Mrs. Welch was a member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo.

Survivors include her children Lana Sheils and Theresa Crane; grandchildren Craig Nichoalds, Tanya Sheils, Jeff (Terri Ann) Weberling, Timothy (Barb) Weberling, Kara Dumey Mihalick (Chad Mihalick), Jared Crane and Krystal Crane Thompson (Garrett Thompson); great-grandchildren Tanner Weberling, Taylor Weberling and Emma James Thompson; sister Shirley West; and brothers Frank Hileman and Danny (Debbie) Hileman; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Rudy Dean Weberling and brother Almos Royal Hileman.

Visitation was Nov. 4, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, and Nov. 5, at First Baptist Church, Waterloo.

Funeral services were at the church, Pastor Steve Neill officiating.

Interment followed at Waterloo Cemetery, Waterloo.

Memorials may be made to St. Louis Area Food Bank (Monroe County Drive).
