Eagles roll over Freeburg

Eric Read’s 92 yard kick off return to start the game set the tone for the Columbia High School football team in its homecoming match up against Freeburg.

Eagles quarterback Logan Santanello connected with Read two times for 80 yards, racking up 185 yards on the night with four completions on five passing attempts and zero interceptions.

Columbia’s defense has been putting a stop to opponents all season, with this Friday night being no exception. The Columbia ‘D’ charted 29 total tackles and 37 assists, with two sacks and two defensive returns.
