Donna Katherine Schrader, 54, of Chicago, died Dec. 25, 2014 in Chicago.

She was born Nov. 17, 1960 in Valmeyer, daughter of the late Donald and Marion Schrader, nee Rick.

Ms. Schrader is survived by her three sisters, Cheryl Schrader Chukwu, Julia Schrader, and Mary Lee Reid; her brother Peter (Renee) Schrader; nieces Jessica Chukwu, and Sophia Schrader; nephews Stanley Chukwu, Jason Chukwu, JJ (Terra) Reid, Nathan Reid, Ian Reid and Owen Schrader; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and her very dear companion Richard Jonas.

Visitation will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 3 at St. Mary’s Parish in Valmeyer.

A memorial Mass will follow at 3 p.m. Jan. 3, 2015 at the church.

Ms. Schrader was a veteran of the United States Navy and employed by Walmart stores.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
