Amanda L. Hunt Kenneth J. Littrell

The Columbia Police Department on Friday obtained arrest warrants on two persons from St. Louis in connection with Sept. 24 thefts from vehicles in town.

Police said Kenneth J. Littrell, 28, and Amanda L. Hunt, 25, both of St. Louis, are facing seven counts of felony burglary related to the incidents.

Littrell is currently in custody, police said. However, Hunt remains at large. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the CPD at 618-281-5151.

The vehicle break-ins occurred in the Burroughs subdivision (Burroughs Court, Burroughs Road and East Ridge) and Spring Terrace area near the American Legion.

All of the thefts were from unlocked vehicles, police stressed.
