The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Columbia High School varsity soccer squad coached by Jason Mathenia. The Eagles are off to a 9-0-1 start with wins this week over Breese Central, Granite City and Lebanon, which was preceded by victories last week over Carlyle, 4-0, and Belleville East, 2-0. Columbia has outscored its opponents 37-3 thus far on the season.
