Charles “Tony” Giglotto

Charles “Tony” Giglotto, 71, of Waterloo, died Oct. 30, 2014 in Waterloo.

He was born April 7, 1943 in East St. Louis.

He was retired from the City of Waterloo, former member of the Illinois Real Estate Brokers Assn., US Air Force veteran, Waterloo VFW, Waterloo Lions Club, Monroe County Genealogical Society, St. Clair County Genealogical Society, St. Louis Genealogical Society and Illinois Genealogical Society.

He is survived by wife Mary Ann Giglotto, nee Rubemeyer; children Clay A. Giglotto and Mark Giglotto (fiancée Sarah); grandchildren Drew Giglotto, Taylor Giglotto, Taryn Giglotto, Samantha Giglotto, Ashley Giglotto, Adyn Avila, Alyssa Hale; brothers Beasley Prather, John (Nancy) Prather, Lee (Charles) Jerls; sister Mary Jean Hartum; sister-in-law Delores Rubemeyer; brother-in-law Roger Rubemeyer; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy L. Rasure, grandson Brady Clay Giglotto, brother Edward Joseph Giglotto, and brothers-in-law Ronnie Rubemeyer and Keith Hartrum.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 2 and 9 to 10:15 a.m. Nov. 3 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will take place at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 3 at the funeral home.

Interment followed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
