Carol Ann Bivins, nee Engel, 78, of Waterloo, died Nov. 10, 2014 in St. Louis.

She was born Oct. 8, 2014 in Memphis, Tenn., daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy Engel, nee Walters.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Kimberly) Bivins, Timothy Bivins, Penny (Charles) Hutchcraft, Tina Bivins, Paul (Angie) Bivins, Patrick (Carol) Bivins, Abby (Audie) Prange and Sonny Bivins; Ayda Mae and 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Debbie Cooper; brothers Gene (Pat) Engel and Darryl Engel; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael C. Bivins, daughter Kelly Bivins and brothers Ronnie and Frederick Engel.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 12 and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 13 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo.

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.
